i salute you sistas!…how wonderful…it is fitting that our young ones will lead us elders…and continue the legacy of sistahood!
some of us wimmin here in the southwest are planning a bit of performance (we are a diverse group of now, elder colored wimmin) and somehow, i am just certain therein lies another twist or two:-) perhaps we could participate/share some herstory, and support your efforts….regardless, we keep you in prayers of protection and inspiration and look forward to learning more of your travels…ashe!

Hi. This is very exciting. I’m in the process of building my own trailer home, specially designed to be non-toxic because I’ve been poisoned by 20th and 21st century capitalism and conventional houses make me sick. Once it’s built I plan to travel around the country visiting and talking and writing and making art, and also uploading video footage with a team in Seattle will be editing and posting online. A central theme is the connections between my Puerto Rican immigrant Jewish sick disabled queer middle aged body and all that ails it, and what’s ailing the planet, talking about environmental illness as a sign of the times, and histories and practices of healing and resistance. I’d love to stay in touch and cross paths somewhere out there. I’ll be starting out from Oakland, CA. Not sure when, since I haven’t started construction yet. Great to read about your journeying.
